Asus TF101 aka Transformer has now hit the doors of FCC, just in time for its intended April launch. It is the first tablet from Asus to feature a dual core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor and a detachable keyboard that adds other useful ports as well.
Rumors has brewing that the tablet will hit the market shelves for somewhere around 400 to 700 dollars. Concrete specs are not available yet but we do know that this convertible netbook features a 10.1-inch display and runs Android 3.0 (aka Honeycomb). I mentioned in Asus Transformer review that at the time of testing, Android market was not available which is a big concern for the potential buyers. Let us hope, the company sorts out this issue before it is released to the public.
It is just hit the doors of FCC and while there is nothing all that interesting in its filing, it has confirmed that the TF101 is same Transformer. More tablet news.
