Dell is now offering its first AMD Fusion netbook, Inspiron M102Z in Australia powered by the AMD C50 or AMD E350 processor. The M102Z features an 11.6-inch display, 1366 x 768 pixel resolution screen, 6-cell battery and runs Windows 7 Home Premium operating system. Like other AMD Fusion netbooks, it comes with an HDMI port to let you watch those naughty videos on a bigger display (HDTV / monitor).
Dell M102z looks very much like the Dell M101Z launched last year. However, its CPU now packs much more power. AMD C50 is a single core processor that runs at 1GHz clock speed and comes with ATi Radeon HD 6250 GPU (Graphics Processing Unit). On the other hand, AMD E350 has two cores (dual core) and runs at 1.6GHz clock speed and sports ATi Radeon HD 6130 GPU.
The base model will cost you 600 AUD and has AMD C50 processor, 2GB RAM. Add 100 AUD more and you get more powerful AMD E350 processor and 4GB DDR3 RAM. Both of these Dell Netbooks weigh just 3.4 pounds.
