Intel is soon going to unveil a new chip meant for tablets and netbooks called Cloverview. This was hinted at the Intel Developer Forum where the micro-processor giant hinted that Cloverview will be the successor of next generation Intel Atom processors. The Cloverview is said to have ultra low energy consumption by using the new 32nm manufacturing process.
The Cloverview will join Cedar Trail for netbooks and Medfield for tablets. It clearly shows that Intel is very much concerned about mobile processors being used in tablets and netbooks. This makes sense as most of the tablets out there uses ARM based processors that are considered more efficient than any Intel processor out there. TDP for the Cloverview processors is not known yet but should be darn close to the ARM processors.
