A new AMD Fusion warrior from Lenovo has entered the ring. Lenovo C205 is equipped with an 18.5-inch display packing a rather uninspiring 1366 x 768 pixel resolution. C205 is powered by the AMD E350 1.6GHz dual core processor that incorporates ATi Radeon HD 6310 and runs Windows 7 Home Premium as its operating system.
The display is matte type so the glare should be much less than the shiny, glossy screens common in most all-in-ones and netbooks. Other specs include a 2GB DDR3 RAM, 320GB hard disk, webcam, DVD super drive, multi card reader, 802.11n Wi-Fi, 5x USB 2.0 and LAN.
Folks at pcwatch were able to run some benchmarks on this Fusion machine. Here were the CrystalMark results – ALU 9845, FPU 8960, MEM 6971, HDD 8250, GDI 3723, D2D 1926, OGL 8978.
Windows Experience Index was – Processor 3.8, Memory 4.9, Graphics 4.1, Gaming graphics 5.6 and primary hard disk 5.5.
It is already available in the Japanese market for about 55,000 Yen. (via pcwatch)
